Every year those of us who blog on This Thing We Do (TTWD) like to set aside a day or two to celebrate the lurkers out there--those who come, read, and then leave without leaving a word. They are the lifeblood of a blog, making up the majority of people who come visit our pages. That's why we have LOVE OUR LURKER days.
And we'd also like these days to be the one time of the year when lurkers step forward and actually leave us a comment. You can go back to lurking the other 364 days of the year, but during our LOL celebration, take the time to say something. You can just say "hello" or mention where you're from. You can make your comment as short or as long as you want. You don't even have to use full sentences. We just would like you to step forward and post something,
Thanks for participating, and I look forward to hearing from you. For this one time of the year, don't be the silent majority!

LOVE OUR LURKERS 12
It's that time of year once again when many bloggers--myself included--take the time to say how much we appreciate ALL of those who come to read and view our blogs. And primarily, we want to say thanks to those of you who come by daily but generally don't leave a comment.
Every blog has some people who comment on a regular basis, some who comment occasionally, and some--the majority, in fact--who don't comment at all. They come, they read, they look at the pictures, and then they slip away silently and go to the next internet offering that strikes their fancy. And we're fine with that.
But a blog is not just for those that do leave a comment. It's for everyone! That's why we host "Love Our Lurkers". We know you're out there, and we appreciate you.
Of course, there's another part to the "LOL" event. Somewhere in the next two days, we'd like to actually hear from ALL of you, and we'd like for you to de-lurk and leave a comment. Tell me what you like about the blog. Tell me what you hate about the blog. Some people just say "Hi", or "de-lurking". It doesn't have to be an essay. (Ain't nobody got time for that!) Just this one time out of the year, take the time to leave a comment. All us bloggers will appreciate the heck out of that, too. We love to see who's out there!
And if you already comment on this blog--go ahead and leave a message anyway! While I encourage the lurkers to step forward today and tomorrow, those who already comment here are welcome to do so, as well!
IMPORTANT NOTE: I moderate all the comments that come into this blog, so whatever comment you leave, you won't see it right away. I do this to eliminate any spam posts. I will, at various times during the day, read through them and will then okay them to be published on the blog. So hang in there--your note will appear eventually!
Let the de-lurking and commenting begin! And have fun over the next two days! I look forward to hearing from all of you!

Sometimes you'll see a picture of the face of a lady being spanked, and it tells you all you need to know. Just by looking at it, you know she's thinking, "Oh my gawd, he's spanking me!?! " or "I can't believe it!" or "I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I'll be a good girl, I promise, just please stop!" or even just the standard "Owwwww!"
The look on the lady's face in this picture?
I don't know what she looked like before or after this, but in this photo, I'd say she's just about finished compiling her grocery list and is wondering when was the last time somebody dusted in here......

It's almost always right about at this point when the woman inevitably shouts out, "What are you doing?!?"....
....which is odd, because I'm pretty sure by then she damn well knows what he's doing--or, more accurately, what he's about to do.
And if she really doesn't, she'll find out in a matter of seconds!
